Ferguson Street, Williamstown

The Level Crossing Removal Project is removing the Ferguson Street level crossing in Williamstown as part of the Victorian Government’s commitment to remove 75 level crossings by 2025.

The project involves separating road and rail at Ferguson Street in Williamstown. Removing this level crossing will make the area safer for drivers, pedestrians and cyclists using the area.

The project is in the early planning phase and we have not yet determined the design for removing the level crossing.

Community input will help shape the project. We want to hear from you about your local area's identity, how you want the area around the crossing removal to look and feel, how you move around the area and how the removal of this crossing could improve the local area.

Please take our short survey below.

We will use your feedback as we work to come up with the best design to remove the level crossing.

There will be more community consultation over the coming months as plans progress to remove the crossing.
