Glenroy

The Victorian Government is getting rid of the dangerous and congested level crossing at Glenroy Road, and building a new and improved station at Glenroy.

Extensive technical investigations have found that a rail under road design is the most feasible option for removing the level crossing. This will see the rail line lowered into a trench that runs underneath Glenroy Road.

Removing the level crossing will improve safety and travel times, while building a new station precinct will help revitalise the area.

As planning continues, we are seeking feedback from the community.

We want to hear how you move around your neighbourhood, how you access and use public transport, and what you’d like to see in and around the new Glenroy Station precinct.
